|The Jumping Ground song|
|"The Jumping Ground Theme"|
|Performed by:|| PRIMUS (S1-18) |
The "Jumping Ground Theme" song plays at the beginning of most episodes of The Jumping Ground. It was composed and performed by PRIMUS, featuring the band's lead singer, Les Claypool until the Nineteenth Season, when TeraBrite performed a new version of the theme.
Over the course of the series, certain lyrics have been changed, including an entire verse, originally sung by Rob Broflovski, sung by Timmy Burch. Afterwards, they used a bluegrass remix of the song until mid-Season Ten, where the original song was remixed with "Whamola" by Les Claypool and his group, The Frog Brigade, from their album, Purple Onion.
This version of the theme lasted until Season Nineteen, when the whole theme was replaced by an all-new techno hip-hop version performed by TeraBrite.
We never thought we'd bounce, Until we went on the Jumping Ground.

Fighting evil's very cool, humble folks beyond temptation.
I'm goin' go on the Jumping Ground, gonna leave my rules behind.
Anvil parking day or night, people spouting: "Howdy, neighbor!"
I'm headin' on down to the Jumping Ground, gonna see if I can unwind.
Rob or Timmy:
So come on down with the Jumping Ground, and that's just where we're at!.
